Near Field

The WattUp® Near Field transmitter technology can be embedded into a variety of form factors, with varying technical options. These include a small, low cost in-the-box WattUp® transmitter (to replace a USB cable and power adaptor, for example), or a fast-charging WattUp® Near Field transmitter for tablets and smartphones, as well as other small electronic devices, providing up to 15 watts of charge.

Mid Field

The WattUp® Mid Field Transmitter technology represents a charging envelope of up to 3 feet – for example, a desktop or tabletop application. Imagine all the small devices on your desk, kitchen island, table or front seat of your car all charging without having to be plugged in or placed directly onto a wireless power source. The WattUp® Mid Field transmitter technology can be designed into the bezel of a computer monitor, automotive console, sensor or similar devices. Software control allows for multiple devices to charge simultaneously at different levels with complete authorization and prioritization capabilities.

Far Field

WattUp® Far Field Transmitter technology represents the furthest wireless charging at a distance option for the WattUp® ecosystem. A far field transmitter may be embedded into medical equipment, industrial robots, Wi-Fi routers or mounted on a wall or ceiling. This design enables maximum coverage and allows mesh network coverage where multiple transmitters are linked together to cover larger spaces. Just like the mid field design, the far field transmitter is fully software controlled.
