Dr. Chryssoula Kyriazidou

Vice President of Engineering, Antennas and Electromagnetics Division

Dr. Chryssoula (Sissy) Kyriazidou serves as the Company’s Vice President of Engineering, Antennas and Electromagnetics Division. Prior to joining Energous, Dr. Kyriazidou worked in Broadcom’s Mobility Group where she focused on antennas, antenna arrays and systems. She also worked on highly constrained form-factors on CMOS technologies for the underlying modules and on very thin chip packages for the antenna and array technologies. Prior to her experience at Broadcom, Dr. Kyriazidou was a consultant in RFIC and electromagnetics engineering from 2004 to 2009. Previously, she worked with the High-Energy Physics groups at Brookhaven and Argonne National Laboratories as well as at the Electrical Engineering Department of UCLA. In 2000, she joined Kimalink Corporation and subsequently joined Broadcom Corporation in Southern California. Dr. Kyriazidou holds a B.S. degree in physics from the National University of Athens, Greece, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She has authored 28 publications in refereed journals and conference proceedings. She holds 22 issued U.S. patents with 3 more U.S. patents pending.
